Bidra med feedback• Visit on a weekday morning for dimsum.• Simple / minimalist décor.• Service is adequate and can use a dose of attentiveness. • Dimsum quality is also adequate – mostly Cantonese; a few with Northern accent.• Dimsum specialties: * Shark fin and shrimp dumpling in supreme soup – overpriced $(11.88) and bland * “Piggywiggy” custard bun – with an air of novelty but overpriced at $6.85 * Crispy BBQ pork puff – tender and juicy BBQ pork-filled flaky puff pastry. Like it. * Pork and crab meat dumpling with roe – tasty and “bouncy” filling. Recommend. * Steamed glutinous rice mixed with chicken in lotus leaves – small with minimal chicken meat and bland. Not good value at $5.75 * Taro
Very good Dim Sum! Great Service, beautiful Decor. Very clean. Professional staff! Truly enjoyed it!
Just had a birthday celebration at this new restaurant that replaced Best Dragon. Food is very good . But the dishes we ordered were done in Taiwanese, Cantonese, Mandarin style cooking, It's a bit pricey. Decor is high end chinese. The wait staff is not all that experienced but they try. They even try their English as well.
Bon Flavor has taken over a previous dim sum restaurant. Now without a traditional dim sum cart, one is left at the mercy of a menu. Fortunately, one of the servers was able to provide assistance to find the dumplings and dishes we were interested in. However, the delivery of the order was slow. Unlike the cart, where one could see exactly what was offered, ordering dim sum from a menu was somewhat intimidating for a first time visitor. The reason offered for the lack of carts was that customers had complained that the food was cold. Ironically, our problem was that the dim sum was too hot, once it arrived. Not sure if a return visit will ever occur.
From lobster to shrimp to Peking Duck, the dishes kept coming and all of them were delicious. This location has had many successful establishments. Hope they can continue!
