Bidra med feedbackThe Cookout family meal includes 1/2 lb Brisket, 1 lb Ribs, 2 Sausage links, 1/2 lb Turkey, 1 large serving of beans, 1 large serving of potato salad, and 1 large serving of Coleslaw for $85 plus tax. We also ordered 2 corn bread. This meal could easily feed 3 people. Unfortunately, they had sold out of turkey so they substituted with half a chicken which was delicious. We were disappointed that they had run out of burned ends as well (we visited on a Saturday night), but they gave us a few pieces for free and they were amazing. The highlights for us were the ribs, chicken, and sides. The banana pudding was also fantastic and a perfect way to end the meal. We will definitely try to come earlier next time to get the items we missed out on.
We arrived at an unusual time, after lunch, and decided to stop at this restaurant as our last destination before visiting Glenn Gould's childhood home. We ordered the half-lean-half-juicy brisket with cornbread and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. To our surprise, one of them (who we think was the owner of the smokehouse) came to our table to say hello and gave us their banana pudding - a must-order menu item that we were not aware of. We were impressed by the hospitality of the staff and the quality of the food in this small eatery, amidst the hustle and bustle of this bustling city.
My friends and I visited this restaurant on a weekend afternoon and were pleased to find no wait. The menu is limited, but the staff suggested ordering half a pound of meat per person, so we followed their advice. I particularly enjoyed the sausage, but we also tried the mac and cheese, ribs, and brisket, all of which were juicy and tender. For more foodie adventures, follow me on Instagram at @maggielicious.
Hands down best smokehouse I was too. The staff is the most friendly meat with absolute love it shows. Being tender, juicy brisket, beef ribs and burnt ends?? Banana pudding was also ridiculously good. 11/10 for Beach Hill Smokehouse, would live here, too bad I live in Montreal
Are you kidding me!? The ribs, slaw and brisket were amazing. All the meats were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The texture and moisture were on point the tenderness couldn't get any better. Arguably the best BBQ in Toronto definitely in the East End.
