Bar Italia - Toronto

The atmosphere inside is casual and unpretentious, reminiscent of a cozy neighborhood eatery. During our visit, the restaurant was not very busy, and our waiter seemed a bit disinterested and inexperienced. Despite this, we proceeded with our orders: Linguine con Pollo for me ($15) accompanied by a glass of white wine ($10), and a funghi salad for my partner ($11) paired with a wine spritzer ($9). We concluded our meal with an Almond Chocolate Biscotti ($2.75). I found the food to be of good quality and the portion size was perfect for a light lunch. I look forward to returning to Bar Italia to explore more of their menu offerings, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The coffee was delicious, the location was excellent, and the service was very good. Although I stumbled upon this place by chance, I really enjoyed it. The view was fantastic and the restaurant itself was beautiful.

The food was good, but not outstanding. The minestrone soup and risotto were very tasty, and the veal sandwich was good, but not exceptional. The desserts, however, were outstanding - both the tiramisu and ricotta cake were delightful. Overall, it was a positive dining experience at a good restaurant.

I didn't realize this was the same spot where we had hosted a business dinner just a month before in their upstairs private room. One month later I'm here with a friend looking for some espresso and dessert on a weekend evening.Some of the best espresso on the strip,the waiter made a couple perfect recommendations for dessert. A perfect evening made more perfect by stellar service and excellent food.I have visited here for lunch, dinner, dessert, business and with friends and they never disappoint.

Bar Italia is my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto! Both the food and customer service are unparalleled. The staff will go to any length to accommodate special requests and make guests feel special. I order from Bar Italia via the Foodora app atleast once a week and find the entire experience very easy. I have a soy allergy and the staff are exceptionally accommodating both when I order from Foodora and when I visit the restaurant in person.For anyone looking to either order Italian in Toronto or dine out, you will not be disappointed with Bar Italia! And if you have any food allergy, this is definitely a must-visit in Toronto.
