Banknote Bar - Toronto

First time here ever and came in August for reference. Firstly, the prices are great and they have daily specials. The service isn’t the best as the waiter did not once ask us how our food was. It was also so hot inside the restaurant, doesn’t appear that their AC was working (as they have an old style AC not central). The food was decent, but the pasta had chicken that tasted dry, so definitely wouldn’t get that again. Overall a nice environment to watch sports games and grab a beer.

Waiter gave us 1 menu to share. Picked it up from a huge pile, so it wasn't out of necessity. Both ladies toilets were broken. Food was bland, air conditioning was turned off halfway through out visit during the heatwave. Staff was cranky. Can't blame them. It was hot!

The only positive thing I can say is; The ambiance is nice and the staff was polite. Otherwise their nachos were kinda disappointing and gave me one if the worst stomachache of my entire life.. never again.

Horrible services my friend and I wanted to just use the washroom we understood last call already happened we explained to one of the workers outside that we just wanted to use the bathroom , he was kind and let us in but one worker very rude and inconsiderate asked us to pay $10 to use the washroom. What kind of establishment charges $10 to use the washroom when the kitchen and bar is closed. Horrible service

Simply very poor service. 15mins after ordering drinks the waiter hadn't even put it through and the place only had a few customers. Very disappointing.
