Bidra med feedbackOur friends drove us here, they were here before and enjoyed it for the first time and wanted us to try. we started with salads. main course I ordered rack of lamb that came with a puppetoff kartoffeln and some mixed green vegetables. my friend had filled the beet salad and pasta with mushrooms and cheese. you man and my man had the calf parmesan. we had wee, the young had a beer. the waiter was rushed and not too friendly. it is a very small space, 6 tables of 4, and 2 tables, the seat 2. full bar. individual washrooms. very busy, all tables were taken.
We try our best to support local restaurants and after friends recommended this we thought “why not “ now I know. the experience was average, the food, not bad, not good, but the service was not good by standards. when I'm told about the server, they're the only one that says tonight's story to me that there are troubled waters, and sure enough that we're meeting rough seas. I've never found out why a restaurant server problem suddenly becomes mine. so it was just a casual night with friends and once we don't have to order it seemed to deteriorate. our food took longer than average patient accepted and when it arrived, as mentioned was not bad, but certainly not unforgettable in any way. in so many cases, the ambiente of a restaurant is an important part of the culinary experience and that certainly lacked. as a smaller local restaurant, most clientele are repeated and local, so you would think that new faces could attract the server to make a effort to back up business, this was not the case. even if we pay the bill we have never been asked how our meal was, how have we heard from the restaurant, we are happy to see them again, in fact, except us the credit card machine that was quite a lot it. So if they like cut without or little interaction, then this restaurant is certainly one for the consideration. it is difficult to stand on today's marketplace, but this restaurant does for the wrong reasons. sometimes the worst is hostile.
Came to dinner at the weekend. reservations are a must. about 25 tables and they fill out quickly. service was wonderful. eating was very good. some very interesting dishes. can be very loud here on a weekend, but week nights are quieter. great. place to relax and enjoy a very good meal and bottle of wine. would definitely recommend.
The staff was friendly, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The food was tasty and well-prepared. Both my companion and I enjoyed our dishes of steak and trout. However, the tables were a bit close together, and the noise level made it difficult to have a normal conversation at times.
Actually, in Ontario. Their slow-cooked (24hrs is fantastic. Had it many times, always excellent. We usually order soup and grilled calamari, also very, very well prepared, and share the lamb. No problem with providing the extra plate. Fairly priced wine by the glass and excellent...desserts(we tried the all) makes it all a special meal...
