An Nam Asian Fusion - Toronto

An Nam, a Vietnamese restaurant, just opened under new management January 5, 2015. I came here on a cold night and had one of the best vegetarian curry vermicelli dishes I ever had. I'm wary of curry because it's usually got fish or oyster sauce, but they assured me it didn't. Then they returned and asked me if i have an aversion to egg (I don't.) And they brought me the freshest and tastiest dish I've had in a long time. It was tastefully spiced a little hot, which was perfect for me, but they're so nice if you don't want spice you could tell them so. Fabulous meal and an excellent waitress. She was a gem!

This place is tucked away on Colborne Street, Church and Jarvis. The food was very good with fair size portions and authentic taste. The fresh salad rolls were the best I have tasted in a long time. They even serve Singha beer for the full Thai experience. A must try for Thai food. They even have delivery or takeout, but I would recommend eating there - the service was excellent.

The service at this restaurant is incredible and the food is excellent! The atmosphere is cozy and the prices are reasonable. The Crispy Egg Noodles with beef were fantastic, as was the Traditional Pad Thai.

When I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the interior and had high expectations. However, I was disappointed when I tried their Magic Pad Thai as it did not meet my expectations.
