Bidra med feedbackDespite the good initial impression and the availability shown by the service, an absolutely negative experience. Frozen and reheated food. We also couldn't eat what we ordered. According to the waiters, it was sold out due to too many customers, so we were forced to change our orders. Another negative note was the rude service and the time taken for lunch: 2 hours.
We tried this restaurant with some friends last summer. Not a very good period. The place is very particular and characteristic as it is a room with a very suggestive exposed brick ceiling. The only flaw is the high percentage of humidity that doesn't allow you to breathe. Perhaps it is worth reviewing this detail. In any case, apart from the incorrect order due to forgotten first courses, we ate very well.
Classy place with good quality of dishes, high prices, better to go with promotions.
We stumbled on La Tana when we were walking to the Film Museum. Four tables partially on the sidewalk and more inside. The pastas were scrumptious, the appetizers memorable, and the wine the best in Turin.
I eat here every time I'm in Torino since 2010. The food is simply amazing. The first courses are probably the main strength of this cute and very intimate restaurant. My absolute favorite are the Paccheri alla tana del re. Service has always been impeccable and the staff is patient when it comes to explain the dishes. Also the wine list is continuosly updated and you can tell that they put some serious effort in mixing local piemontese wines with wines from campania region. I fell in love with the Timorasso white wine thanks to la Tana del Re. If you are in Torino but want to try a different type of cusine rather then sticking to the traditional piedmontese food, this is the place to go.
