The Pelican Cafe - Torbay

Big chippy, always like. they have asked for scrap, but they have simply opened themselves so they can make me something! chips and drill with scraps and lashes of salt and edgy. brilliant.

Ordered 4 breakfast for under £6 each very tasty and well cooked complete with toast jam.

Great fish and chips, best we had in paignton. fish was fresh, fluffy and full of taste, the chips were also crispy. what the negative reviews here, if they are true, then the place has really improved. can't blame her at all, will definitely be 10/10.

The food was disgusting, the service was awful, the staff was rude, and the accommodations were terrible. I would never eat there again and would not recommend it to anyone. This restaurant should be condemned.

This cafe is excellent! The chips are cooked to order, the fish is good and hot, and they serve the best whippy ice creams at a good price. Joy, the owner, is friendly and happy to help. The young lads working there are also very helpful and friendly. We visited more than once while on holiday here. Another plus is that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. I don't understand the negative reviews as the food is cooked fresh for you, not sitting in oil drying up. Thank you, Joy, and your lovely staff!
