So disappointed to find that the Cornish Bakery in Torquay has closed. Always enjoyed everything I had when I went in and their coffee and scones were by far the best in the town.

I visited Torquay this afternoon and was disappointed to see that the Cornish Bakery was closed and the interior fittings had been removed. I hope that this is just a renovation rather than the permanent loss of this wonderful coffee shop and bakery. They had the best scones, delicious coffee, and pasties.

Stopped for a quick coffee and cake fairly early on in the day; good coffee, decaff and standard, and reportedly a very nice carrot cake. Service cheerful and prompt. So good we went back at lunchtime, food all tasty and matched to the high expectations set in the morning. Thank you.
