Bidra med feedbackBeing physically disabled, I parked immediately beside the farm shop in a Blue Badge space on the opposite side of the cafe entrance. This meant I was a floor down, but could manage the wide wooden outdoor stairs. I couldn't find a lift, so I don't know if there is one or not. In the cafe there is a great system of finding your table and noting the number before ordering your drinks and food (I wish more places would adopt this). Although only going for coffee with a friend, I saw very many people who were tucking in to delicious looking breakfasts. I didn't hear any complaints!
Went there as a change from our usual breakfast cafe, was quite busy inside but clean. Food came out quickly and service good. Overall thought the breakfast was okay but smaller portion and more expensive then our usual. Produce seemed good quality but poached egg was very vinegary. Might go back in going to the farm but not for food alone
Brought our daughter here for some breakfast. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. I had a bad experience here once but glad I came back. Really enjoyable morning. Thank you
Arrived early Sunday morning knowing the cafe would be open. My husband had just had his knee replacement and was on his first outing. I parked by the shop knowing they had a lift and also knowing the distance from the other car park was too great. I knocked on the shop door, explained the situation (husband visible on two crutches) but we were refused entry to use the lift as the shop wasn’t open for another 5-7 minutes. It was suggested that by husband use the wooden, slippy outside stairs to enter the cafe. So much for access for all.
We have had lunch at Occombe Farm Cafe a few times now, and it never disappoints! The latest visit was a few days ago, when we had a couple of their sandwiches which were freshly made and substantial, with coleslaw and crisps and salad, and very tasty. We shall return!
