Bidra med feedbackWe try and go there once a week for coffee and cake. It is always busy and you do wait a while. The tables are always dirty because the staff do not clean then enough. You see people moving dirty cups and plates to other tables so they can sit down. They need more staff. I love the food but it needs to be cleaner.
M&S coffee shop....I expected better. One till not working....husband queued 40 minutes for one coffee, One tea. Appalling wait, we had not ordered food. Place very busy and popular and clean, no easy task given customer turnover. Not many smiles from staff, I thought they were supposed to have training in impeccable customer service?! Most looked fed up!
Came here today and cannot believe that for a business as big as M&S there was no Gluten Free Sandwiches on offer. Having Celiac disease its not sonething i can risk having a normal samdwich. I ask at the checkout point to be told ill look in the fridge out the back .. i told her not to bother surely they should be on display and i dont hold much hope as there was no space on the shelves for it. Absoulty appauling ...
Went there today with the family. I decided to try their Christmas Dinner. Oh dear God. If this was meant to help celebrate the birth of Jesus, these people can expect a bolt of lightning any time. The portions were minute. I got three tiny sprouts, A few measly carrots, a couple of dried up roast potatoes. One equally dry Yorkshire Puddings and some tasteless turkey in watery gravy. This cost £8.95 and was truly awful. What a rip off. Be warned.I have had some nice meals in this place before. This wasn’t one of them. I feel like they have stolen my money.
My wife and i went to M&S yesterday. i had looked at previous reviews as we were going to have something to eat before we started to shop. most reviews were spot on. i have never eaten in an M&S store before, but had heard over decades that their food was good. to be honest it was Ok. The price of tea for two and a couple of bacon baps was what i expected to pay. We arrived around 10am and the cafe was already very busy with long ques. i went to find a seat while my wife Que to get the tea and baps. 15 mins later she got to the table. tea tray in hand but no food, that was delivered to the table 5 mins later. the downside to this store is that it attracts the elderly on mass. so there were goodness knows how many people all shouting over each other to be heard. we had the misfortune of only getting a seat by the crockery return area where the staff were more than happy to sling cups and plates into racks. this added to the noise. so, will i go to M&S cafe again. Probably not.
