Luis' Place - Topeka

Went to luis’s place for our valentine dinner and it was amazing! the location, the ambiente, the service and the eating are exceptional! seriously, they need to visit luiss!

Food was Amazing. Romantic dinner with my Beautiful Wife

I had such high hopes. My wife and I had not been out on a date in a while. So when we heard about this place and read reviews, it sounded perfect; pricey, but perfect. When we arrived, we didn’t see any signage to know we were in the right place until we got out of the vehicle and walked over to the stairs leading down to the front door, where there is a small plate on a crossbeam with the name. That’s open for interpretation. Let me say now that our meal was delicious. My sirloin and my wife’s salmon were both cooked perfectly. All the flavors were absolutely on point. But my accompanying mashed potatoes and green beans were room temperature. The only bread served was a tiny slice the size of an Oreo cookie with our small portion of soup. And our crème brûlée didn’t set all the way so the bottom was runny. With a set price of $55 per person, I expected more. The service was great! But I would suggest the servers could wear something rather than street clothes. Call me critical, but We were looking forward to a fine-dining experience. And for our first time visiting the place, we didn’t find that our experience matched the cost.

First time visiting this place and let me tell you it will not be the last. DELICIOUS food. Staff was amazing as well.

We had given up hope of ever finding a good breakfast in Topeka, then we found this place! The food was amazing, and Menda, our server, took excellent care of us. The biscuits and green chili gravy were so delicious. The Venezuelan breakfast was incredible! We will be back! Can't wait to try lunch and dinner!
