Froggy's - Topanga

Used to hang out here and play darts with the owner and other Topanga residents back in the mid 20 aughts. Was an amazing place. Visiting LA next year and was hoping to check it out, but seems it’s closed ;

Haven't been there since 2012 to 14, but I keep checking and hoping it will reopen. Fascinating local place with history which started as a local school house in the 1920's and expanded with rambling add-ons. Rumored that it once was owned by some recognizable late 60's-70's musicians. Nice low key, friendly local vibe. I think I must have imagined experiencing music there in the school house room with the fireplace, because it was such a perfect venue, that I wanted it to be so.

It gets a 5 when it was open but it seems to be closed. We went out of our way to drive there as shows open on Google but it was closed and dark. I’ve suggested the edit to show closed

When it’s ever open it gets a five… But it’s never open… what the heck is going on with this place??? Seriously??? I hear through the grapevine that it’s opening within the next six months!!!

The Grinch Party on the 18th was amazing. Can't wait for this historical landmark, and vital community hub to reopen
