Bidra med feedbackDisclaimer: we arrived at 3:00 on a Monday afternoon, looking forward to our meal based on previous reviews. One other couple in the dining room. No server, so you go to the counter to order. When we got to the counter, we explained it was our first time and asked for a recommendation. No response. After we asked what was his favorite, he responded the Philly cheese steak. They were out of coleslaw and tater tots. Bummer. I was expecting a rustic atmosphere, but I agree with a previous review that the carpet is pretty bad. It was clean otherwise. At least the gentleman who brought out the food was personable. The food was presented nicely, and they got the crispy waffle fries perfect! Both the garlic bread burger and Philly were good, but the burger was thin and cooked more well than I like. BTW love the automated dispensers for soap and towels in the restroom. So, I wish them success, but I doubt we will be back.
The ladies at Bean Brew sent me here for a hamburger, was not in a mood for sandwich's. Great Ortega Burger, fresh bun, crisp lettuce, just right. Nice people.
Mediocre at best, but hey, it's Tonopah. Had the tri-tip burrito. Was meat, lettuce, wrap, red sauce. Bland but edible. Cashier weirdly didn't ask for drink and didn't offer water or anything. Friend had grilled cheese and ham. Think of mom's fast kids lunch. Plain American. BLT was passable, no mayo, toasted on grill on one side. Eh. Place really needs a remodel too. Carpet is nasty. Oh well. We had food, didn't get poisoned, filled a cavity. Drove on.
Amazing food and amazing service. The owner Albert was there and he recommended the brisket sandwich because he smokes it himself. It was so good. My boyfriend, who wasn't planning on eating because he wasn't hungry, ended up eating half of it. The coleslaw was possibly the best I've ever had and I make a mean coleslaw. Since the brisket came with coleslaw included I still got to choose a side. Went with the waffle fries and was not disappointed. Owner said they are working on their liquor license which would be the icing on the cake. We will definitely be making this a regular stop on our trips through Tonopah.
