Hadlow Grill - Tonbridge and Malling

Unfortunately, the day we were 3 employees sick and the people had entered to help. we were a big table and the feeling we were forgetting/just left to him all the staff were very friendly and nice, but the service was very. that we had not been getting any more information on the arrival, that there was a personal deficiency and there could be some delays it brought us an hour our bottle wein first drink) when it arrived, it was wrong, I informed them and got another bottle of the same nice back, then after another 15 minutes and I was looking for staff not they coming to me) I will try again, and hope only that this was one of me, I feel that if it really busy or short workers just say, customers may expect a delay and keep people in drinks! I personally am happy to wait when it is needed for food when I drink while I chat with friends, but if they don't eat or drink the chat all turns around how long the service taken and disappointed we all are

They have visited and enjoyed a beautiful meal. this visit was a disappointment. eating was not very hot. we had carvery. No one came to take our order, so we had to ask for a long wait. No one came to check what was in order. or if we needed more drinks. After the closure of our main meal we were not asked if we would like a desert, tee or coffee. So we decided not to disturb and go home. we asked for the bill. bill number 1 wasn't our bill. bill number 2 was ours, but coffee was added. So we had to ask them to be removed. I'm afraid we won't return.

For Sunday dinner. had dared. one of the best I ever had. beautiful meat super sweet and massive portions. a wonderful brownie for gloomy all in beautiful surroundings and really nice staff. I'll go back soon.

For a lunch for a few friends for a pick up. I've never done a tripadvisor before, like it wasn't like I shared my mind. However, I could not mistake the service that was given. good atmosphere good eating friendly staff can not ask for much more...thanks that, in any case will return

I always good out to have a good time. Check out my other reviews. They 're nearly always positive. Tonight was very different. My wife a booked a table for dinner and, as soon as we walked in (I think it was) the manager told us...there was no food. When I told her we 'd booked a table for dinner, she said something about a large group of people turning up and could only cook a very limited choice of meals and walked off, no apology or telling us where we could sit. Ordering at the bar, the choice was burger or scampi and chips or ploughmans, not even ham, egg and chips. Getting ham out the fridge and frying an egg must have been too much. I was told it was the chef 's special and the chef had called in sick, which was a more plausible explanation for the meltdown. Our food turned up in reasonable time and was ok but the manager made sporadic appearances and talked loudly in the manner of losing the will to live . By now, there were about thirty people in the pub. Our friends arrived later but, as they are vegetarians, there was nothing for them to eat and they had to leave to eat elsewhere. If the manager was trying to persuade everyone in the place to never come back, she probably did a good job. I hope this place can change because, if the manager can 't handle pressure without mouthing off to everyone within earshot then it doesn 't have much of a future, which is a shame because it 's a lovely pub with a great garden. Maybe it was a one off event. I hope so for the sake of the business.
