River Grill - Tonawanda

We drove our bikes on the way to buffalo and smelled some amazing fragrances from this restaurant when we came by. determined to stop lunch on the way back tonawanda and so glad we did. friendly server, cold beer, great sandwiches. the filled pfefferhoagie was a dream true. I will try to replicate it at home. my wife had a chicken sandwich with spinach, roasted red paprika and cheese that was also delicious.

Great place! Great staff! Very fresh and delicious seafood in a wonderful location. I will be back.

Very pleasant casual dining experience. The menu was extensive with a good variety of seafood options. Most were dining outdoors taking advantage of the riverfront venue. The service was also very good, friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. There was a live band which was pretty good, not so loud so that conversation was comfortable.

This place was really nice. It had a generous amount of seating outside. No waiting for a table. The waitress was great. The menu was very decent. Lots of seafood, but other choices as well. I had the ribs (delish, tender) Will definately be going back.

First of all it's was right on the shoreline trails bike path which made for a great rest stop on our ten mile bike ride . You are welcome to come from any distance .as that trail is great ..the wings ..ok ..my burger just ok ..my wifes fish fry was delicious ..so I would stick to the sea food on the menu as it is apparently what they do ...service was ..and again right on the bike trail ....
