Comida extraordinária... adorei a morcela, o cabrito, a pêra bebada e o leite creme. Ambiente muito quentinho e acolhedor Staff incrivel... muito atenciosos e simpáticos Reservei com dias de antecedência. Obrigatório!

Came across this restaurant reading the inflight magazine on TAP Portugal. Turned out to be a really great recommendation! After visiting the Covent of Christ in Tomar, decided to seek out this restaurant. Luckily for google map, or it would have been impossible to locate the restaurant. Almost gave up a couple of times, but thankfully we did not. The restaurant was worth the find and the wait. The menu was limited because we were there late after the lunch time. And also because we didn't have any Portugese language skill, it was really difficult to communicate. But the staff were really friendly and we were able to order with the help of basic English and pictures. We ordered the baby goat and grilled sardines. We were all tentative having only tried mutton, lamb but never baby goat. Any reservation disappeared with first taste. It was really one of the most delicious meal ever eaten. The ambience of the restaurant was really cosy and everything feels really authentic.

We were treated to typical Portuguese cuisine with friendly staff who went out their way to make our visit memorable. The helpings are enormous and would be impossible to finish in a single sitting. We did not book and so the lunch menu was limited but beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts were basic but delightful. The matriarch chef has been working in this family run restaurant since forever and takes delight in coming out to meet and greet the diners. It is not a cheap experience but a special memory nevertheless'

Restaurante soberbo. Familiar e tradicional. O prato de bacalhau com carne estava qualquer coisa, foi uma óptima experiência. Paragem obrigatória para quem vier a Tomar. Destaco o atendimento super atencioso do Sr. Francisco.
