Bidra med feedbackThis place was great, I wish I could visit it again, rice was great, the atmosphere was not great, completely empty. The place was not very well advertised, but the whole place got torn down recently.
I drove past this restaurant several times , and I had never tried Peruvian food before, so I was curious to try it. I tried Tacu Tacu and it was very good, very similar to Dominican food, but different. The top sirloin beef tips melt in your mouth. My favorite is the Tallarin de Saltido. It 's pasta with beef tips, onions, cilantro, and tomato, cooked in soy sauce and red wine vinegar. Exellente! The owner is very nice and helpful. When he offers you the spicy , if you like spicy foods give it a try. It 's not your usual salsa.I 'm saddened, because I have been telling people about this place since I found it, and I haven 't been able to convince very many people to try it. Those that I have convinced to try Chosica, have wanted to come back. My coworker and I tried to go back and the signage was taken down. A sign posted on the front door said that they were closed training kitchen staff for an expanded menu...But why did they take the sign down?I hope Chosica reopens. I still tell people that it 's a great restaurant. It 's way better than Taco Bell, and it 's cheaper than Taco Bell.
The food was excellent and unmatched. The customer service was fantastic. We will definitely be returning.
The menu offered unique dishes that we had never tried before. My wife enjoyed the Chicha, a drink made from purple corn with hints of lemon, apple, and pineapple. She found it a bit heavy due to the added sugar, but she still liked it. For an appetizer, we tried the Papa Rellena, which was delicious with a crispy exterior and a filling of ground beef, onions, and eggs. It came with salsa and mayo for added flavor. For her main dish, my wife ordered the Tacu Tacu, which featured marinated sirloin stir-fried with red onions, tomatoes, and cilantro in a soy-based sauce. It was served with plantains and topped with a fried egg over white rice. She enjoyed it and had leftovers to take home. I opted for the Tallarin Saltado with Beef, which also had sirloin stir-fried with red onions, tomatoes, and cilantro in a soy and red wine vinegar sauce. It was served over sautéed pasta and I was pleased with my choice, also having leftovers to take home. The service was attentive, with the owner personally taking care of us. The value was great, considering the delicious food and reasonable prices. Our total bill came out to just over $25 per person, including food, drinks, tax, and tip. We are looking forward to returning to this enjoyable restaurant. Kid-friendly: Children are welcome. Parking: Small but adequate parking lot in a nearby plaza.
A small cozy restaurant that offers delicious and different-than-usual food choices. The staff is very friendly and they even had live music when I visited.Reasonable price for the food too.
