Te Puka Tavern - Tokomaru Bay

The staff were very friendly and the food was well presented and awesome. The only downside is the wait was almost 40 minutes and pricey for bar meals. A can of sprite was $5 or $6 for a 1.5 litre. Our meals came to $68.00

Awesome hosts, excellent steak, salad and chip meals provided here. Bar staff friendly and the pub has beautiful views over Tokomaru Bay. There 's also plenty of parking for self contained 'responsible campers ' in their car park. It 's for sale, someone buy it!

This restaurant is a truly unique and memorable place that I love to go back to time and time again. It holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to making even more wonderful memories there.

A group of 10 people, including me, went for lunch at this restaurant. The setting was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious and amazing. We all agreed that the raw fish was one of the best we have ever tasted, and every dish we tried was flavorful with generous portion sizes.

Great service and beautiful fresh food. Worth the 2.5 hour drive from home. Definitely recommend. Already planning to go back with the kids and stay in units once the weather warms up and enjoy another meal or 2.
