El precio de $45 dólares estadounidenses para dos parecía alto al principio, ¡pero pudimos llevarnos la pizza y el vino sobrantes de vuelta a nuestra casa para recalentarlos y disfrutarlos completamente por segunda vez! ¡La corteza de esta pizza es taaaan sabrosa!
La Parola te transportará en el tiempo a un patio remoto de una casa de campo en Italia donde el dueño personalmente prepara la cena solo para ti. ¡Qué experiencia tan especial y única!
Cuando conduces por alguna carretera al azar y ves un letrero de pizza y piensas "seguro, la pizza saciará el hambre" y luego llegas y la vista es fabulosa y el chef pregunta, '¿pepperoni, vegetariana o pescado?' y te lleva al fondo para mostrarte el pescado y hueles y ves las hierbas frescas y alcaparras y sabes que llegaste al lugar correcto? Eso fue allí. Una pizza de pepperoni y una orden de pescado después y fue divino. Una corteza crujiente y fresca, hierbas frescas en ambas, perfectamente cocinadas, pescado tierno y escamoso, vino blanco frío (no el mejor, pero no importó) y estábamos felices. ¡Gran hallazgo!
We were staying nearby and had a craving for pizza. We searched Trip Advisor and found this place was close. So glad we tried it! It is in a residential area, so it's a bit of a surprise. The proprietor doesn't speak English and we speak little Spanish, but we got through it easily enough. No menu. We were given two options for pizza - veggie or pepperoni. We asked if he could do both in one. It was delicious! Super fresh veggies, great crust, and it was huge! Wine was good too. The proprietor was the only one working; he greeted us, waited on us, and made the food. We went in the afternoon and we were the only four there. It was a little pricey compared to some places in town and I would recommend taking plenty of pesos, as I'm not sure credit is an option. All in all, it was a great experience. So glad we took a chance and tried it!
For a long time this hideaway was a locals secret for those of us who live on "the otro lado" as the area is referred to. Pietro is such a dear man and I have enjoyed many a night sitting at the table in his kitchen drinking wine, chatting away, and even helping him make pizza sometimes! It's such a unique experience. His salads are deliciously fresh. Anything he feels like making will never disappoint. Just tell him to give you whatever he's into that night! There are tables outside under umbrellas but you can still see the stars. Now that more people have discovered him, it's nice to see the tables fill up. I also call him in advance to place orders to go.Everyone I've ever brought there has loved the whole experience.
