Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant was recommended by a local resident but we were really disappointed. The lighting in the dining room was awful so bright you thought you were in a factory somewhere. Staff was nice enough and recommended an excellent local wine from their winery) The Food: The plate of salume was good although the ratio of meat to fat on the ham was too much towards the fat. Caccio Pepe with truffles didn’t taste of truffles and was fat too salty. Pasta with prawns crayfish was decent. Beef cheeks and porc necks were perfectly good despite the beef being tepid. I think this restaurant is completely hyped up. Yes it’s ok but definitely not worth the 30mns it took to get there.
A beautiful spot to admire the sunset. The food was fine and inventive. The service was indifferent. They made a mistake with one of our orders and rather than apologize, they remained silent. The dish finally arrived after the rest of us finished our meal. Again, no apology. Just silence. It was not a busy night and the restaurant was rather empty. There was no excuse for a table of 6 being somewhat neglected. I would go back there for the views, but would choose another restaurant like La Mulinella for dinner.
Exquisite food in the beautiful surroundings of a carefully tended garden. Lovely terrace. Attentive service. Great desserts.
Tryed in summer. A corner of true paradise, a dream location where you can dine directly in front of the hill on which Todi stands, almost seems to be able to touch it with hand. Peace, relaxation, a unique peace! Dinner was definitely good. The most impressive thing is the excellent value for money. We took an appetizer based on pumpkin flowers stuffed with goat ricotta with zucchini cream and fresh scratched truffle on the plate. A really well-made dish, the best of the evening. To follow a good first based on homemade strangles at the truffle. “Only” normal the great selection of cheeses that I took as second, as well as the dish of ham of their production taken from my partner and dessert, a kind of lemon pastry. The evening was positively wet by an excellent Orvieto Classico Superiore produced by Palazzone. Very interesting also the wide selection of coffees from various parts of the world (Himalaya, Jamaica.... . Finally I was allowed to close the evening with a fantastic Bas Armagnac of 1974! Sublime.
I was already at the Fiorfiore restaurant a few years ago and I was very well. I came back a few days ago with my wife and we had a really nice evening. We started with an aperitif in the garden facing the Todi hill that stood in the backlight. Unfortunately there was too much wind to dine outside and we had to fold on the inside. The interior space is pleasant with a crop environment divided into two small rooms. Perhaps a little too much room for my taste, but overall pleasant. The service is very pleasant, attentive without being too pressing. Very well-kept dishes and delicious desserts. Of course excellent wine since it is an excellent Umbrian wine cellar!
