Bidra med feedbackDecent vibe, a little empty. Service was very scattered. I had pasta come out luke warm TWICE which they still charged me for. An OK old fashioned which was made differently both times I ordered it. It?s the only time I?ve ever resented a mandatory tip minimum (18% . Entirely mundane experience with no real pride in service from anyone there.
The food was DELICIOUS, the pasta was perfectly cooked, better then some very famous Brooklyn and Manhattan spots I?ve been. It was lunch time on Friday so it was quiet and service was great. Apperol Spritz was THE BEST I?ve ever had. (And I had it in several places and is my favorite drink and I?m VERY picky about my drink) Seriously? I don?t understand the bad reviews, it must have been the day or something, because this is now my favorite food in the US.
Beautiful spot, lovely server. Mediocre food. If you?ve spent anytime enjoying the great trattorias and small Italian spots that are all over Manhattan and Brooklyn then you are bound to be disappointed by Giobatta in this cute Hudson Valley town. Very little creativity in the food. Everything is under seasoned. The meatballs are dry and chewy, the pasta does not appear to be freshly made in house, the fried calamari (while perfectly tender and fresh) was overwhelmed
Review from a local It 's common that many restaurant owners are on drugs or drinking on the job. But this experience really made top 3. The owner started SHOUTING and asking if there was mold no, but are you proud to serve non fresh items at that price?? He proceeded by saying he was getting very annoyed and to
Nice Italian restaurant, you can buy Imported goods and have a breakfast here. This time i went for lunch and everything was good. Goat cheese gnuti are worth a try. The tiramisu was too big and not to my taste.
