Bidra med feedbackPortions here are fairly small and it was quite a shock to be told, sorry but the wifi is broken so we can 't take credit cards. We ordered side salads that had too much salt to be edible, something I have never experienced before. House wines are nice.
Booked in at last minute nice room, very clean, decent shower, small verandah. Very reasonably priced. Short taxi ride into centre of Tivoli.
After several hours of tramping through nearby Hadrian's Villa which has no cafe, we were ready for anything. The nearby Hotel Adriana was like a mirage. We were led professionally to the peaceful restaurant by a smiling waitress. The local red wine was wonderful and followed by an imaginitive aubergine and mozarella starter then tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and a delicious rural poussin stuffed with potatoes for main. This set us up nicely for our return to the hustle and bustle of Rome
Situated right across the road from the Hadrians Villa this friendly little place is worth the custom. Only had coffee and a snack lunch but can recommend it for friendliness and price.
Silvana e Arnaldo Cinelli have set up in years, and their daughter boosted, this nice garden place facing the entrance of the fantastic Villa Adriana, a must-to-see for any civilised traveller. From home made bread to cleverly revisited classic recepies, the menu is outstanding. Try a couple of fried eggs with anchovies, or Testaroli cacium and pepper (pasta), with a glass of white Castore.
