Taste was good... A very good place to have a Nov-Veg menu.
The best food in taste and quality! Service is good. All meats are fresh and do not get angry after eating!
Excellent food as usual, white chicken sinthamani must try with meals..
This is a really simple hut-like, traditional Gounder/Koundar style food serving eatery. The seating is basic tables and stool like seating, and food is served on banana leaves. Rice is the main staple, served with customary stir-fried/tossed vegetable and a chutney made from different prime ingredients each day, and typical South-Indian papad. A daal made from differing pulses, and a rustic sambar variant consumed with the rice set the main courses for vegetarians, with a small cup of curd/yoghurt to finish up. Non-vegetarian fare is what Gounder cuisine is known for, and the gravy accompaniments include Country chicken and mutton gravies, and a of bone/cartilage 'thin ' gravy (can be drunk just like the famous Paya Soup). Red-chilli and garlic cooked Chicken Chintamani and Mutton Koththu are the picks from the speciality dishes. Despite the really modest setting, don 't be surprised if you find one or two folks from the who 's who of the Tiruppur Industrial Magnate crowd eating at Mani Gounder Mess on any day.
