Bidra med feedbackAfter spending two days working in Trichy, I made sure to explore recommended dining spots in the area. Two places stood out to me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to experience authentic Tamil cuisine. "Hotel Kanappa" in Thillai Nagar came highly recommended by locals, and I indulged in their non-vegetarian special thali meal. The mutton liver curry was a standout dish, although the special Tutti Fruity egg left something to be desired. One thing to note is that seating may be shared with strangers, so be prepared for a communal dining experience. Overall, Trichy exceeded my expectations with its delicious food offerings. Some of the must-try dishes included mutton sukka, vanjaram fry, chicken and egg crab omelette, biryani (both chicken and mutton), mutton liver curry, kola urundai (meat balls), kebabs, and Chettinad fish curry. If you're willing to venture off the beaten path for a truly authentic culinary experience, Trichy has much to offer.
I had a fantastic experience at Karthik Mess. The day's menu was conveniently displayed on a tablet, offering a wide selection of non-vegetarian dishes, rice, biryani, curries, and fried fish - all of which were simply amazing. The buffet-style service allows guests to eat until they are full. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant in Trichy, especially for the delicious meal options.
Hello! a colleague beat this place to lunch and guess what? I enjoyed my meal, many not veg beside offers to choose extremely friendly service and sufficiently spaced.
