Bidra med feedbackI tried the veggie burger here twice and it was extremely delicious, unlike anything I've had before! However, the menu was a bit confusing and led to some confusion with our first order. I recommend specifying that you want your meal made vegan to avoid any misunderstandings. It's also helpful to communicate directly with the chef instead of relying solely on the waiter, as not all staff may fully grasp the concept of veganism. Overall, it's a must-try!
Many vegan and veggie options. tell them and no problems.
This restaurant was conveniently located 200 meters from our resort, so we decided to give it a try. To our delight, we found that they offered a variety of vegetarian options that exceeded our expectations. They had dishes such as roasted rice, noodles, all-day breakfast options like eggs and pancakes, a veggie burger, and a rice and pork dish cooked in various sauces (customers could choose from 5-6 types of sauces). Additionally, the prices were reasonable.
This is such a nice place to eat at the beach. It’s super relaxed and has a chilled vibe. We had the vegan and the vegetarian burger and it was really good. We liked the patty a lot.
I spent a week in Tioman Island and struggled to find vegan-friendly dining options. Apart from the typical rice and vegetable dishes available at food stalls, Tioman Cabana Bistro offers a veggie burger, which can be made vegan upon request (otherwise it contains egg and dairy). They also serve traditional Malaysian rice and noodle dishes that can be customized to be vegan. While the food is not particularly exceptional and is relatively pricy compared to other eateries on the island, it provides some variety for vegan travelers staying in the area. Additionally, there is another vegan-friendly restaurant in ABC village near the jetty that serves hummus sandwiches. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the name of the establishment, but I wanted to share this information with my fellow vegan travelers.
