Mokum cafe - Timişoara

Mokum Cafe is, in my opinion, a must for tourist visiting Timisoara. Mokum Cafe is located in the heart of the old town of Timisoara, very near to the Unirii Square. I always find at Mokum a very good atmosphere, best music and the coffee...is...wow!

We bumped into this cool specialty coffee shop by mistake but we were very happy, because we are coffee afficionados. They have many coffee origins, the baristas were well prepared, friendly and discret also.

Mokum is a nickname for Amsterdam and visiting Timisoara as an inhabitant of Amsterdam and a coffee lover I had to visit this place. The location is very nice, with a small terrace but the coffee was average. I make a better espresso at home....Still, I enjoyed the experience on my way to work.

The moment I entered this cafe, I already felt this most ambient atmosphere inside: soft music and inspiring quotes written on the walls. The man in charge offered me a rich creamy cappuccino. It was among the best cappuccinos I've ever had. Any coffee at...Mokum leaves a bittersweet taste of greatness, of authenticity, of pureness in your mouth both literally and figuratively : . The only element that might not suit everybody is represented by the inflexible working hours. Mokum is open every working day only until 5 pm, which might be a little too early for some people. But apart from that, I believe it is the best cafe at least in Timisoara.
