Balkan Bistro - Timişoara

Mixed feelings, The personel was kind and helpfull and the atmosphere was pretty relaxing, but part of the food was really lacking... pasta was flavourless(no salt at all) after ariving very late compared to the other dishes, the pork neck was undercooked still had pink areas, the chicken burger had a spicy pesto on it without anouncing it in the menu (my son took 2 bites and didn't want to touch it anymore). On the other hand the the squid tentacles with onion jam were delicious.

Very fast service, decent portions of beautiful food. My favourite was the Ciorbā de burtā.

The location is great with nice views, but it seems we weren't so lucky with the food: it arrived very late and cold and dry, the waiter probably forgot about it? Taste was ok but nothing special, seems a bit expensive for that mediocre quality

Waited for one single Burger for more than an hour!!!! Save your time, no matter how is the food, if you get to wait for so long! I'd better get a walk around the park for that hour then sitting and waiting

I was in this restaurant long time ago. Had some grills. Hence this time with wife and kid tried to have some Serbian meal. The girl in the reception has no courtesy and very rude. Asked for covid pass. Me and wife both health professionals working in the UK we showed our even booster dose qr code from NHS England. She put her phone and said its not working and not able to enter. In whole entire Timisoara the qr code is valid why it's not on their restaurant!! It's beyond my understanding. She has no clue to understand or not even eager to try. I would suggest not to enter this restaurant as may be typical Serbian attitude is very rude and not welcoming. In my experience.
