Green Ginger - Tilton

We really like this place. When we get that I 'm in the mood for Chinese food feeling, Green Ginger is the first place we think of. It 's a welcoming place... large, nice looking restaurant. They have a big menu, including sushi. (I 've had the sushi and it 's GOOD). But if you 're looking for the Chinese staples, you will not be disappointed. FOOD: Delicious and filling! Great portions. I 've tried a few of their menu items, and I 've pretty much always been more than happy. Just one exception their fried rice isn 't my fave. I don 't know what it is. It always tastes different from other Chinese places, and I can 't figure it out. It 's not terrible, but I personally don 't like it. SERVICE: We are always pleased with the service; they 're quick to seat you, get your order, and the food comes out fast. Great staff all around. PRICE: Usually comes to about $50 for two of us, which includes an appetizer, soda, and our main dishes. Reasonable! I recommend this place. Parking: Huge parking lot at the end of a plaza.

Pretty sure it was our server's first shift and we were her first patrons... She was very sweet, but seemed to have no idea about anything. Also fairly certain that the menu labels items as gluten free that aren't. For example, the udon dishes. This is a big concern! The place itself is lovely. Dietary restrictions: They need to make sure the menu is much more clear and truthful about gluten and vegetarian/vegan. Severs need to be able to coherently communicate about dietary requirements as well.
