Château Tilques

Chateau Tilques has always been a favourite stop off, on the way back to the shuttle, but I had not been for quite a while. The Vert Mesnil restaurant did not disappoint. We arrived for Lunch and tried the fixed price Grille Menu which was excellent value for money 27Euros p.p. The food was fresh, tasted delicious and was very well presented. We were also able to eat in the garden which was amazing. My friends who had not been before, were very impressed and we all intend to revisit.

As a uk expat living in near Saint omer for many years this was the first time I hav eaten at this restaurant.The restaurant is situated in the grounds of the castle and is spacious with tables being placed wide apart in these covid times.At midday the restaurant offers a set menu of 25 euros for a two couse meal with a drink.The main meal is grilled over a open fire ,choice of meats and fish.The food was very nice with a choice of vegitables ,chips or mash potato (several variations).The service is quick and friendly.All in all a very nice experience and we will return to eat here in the future especially with the very reasonable price of the meal

This restaurant, located in a lovely country hotel, has really let itself down.

The dinner was really good even if they didn't have a big choice for vegetarians . My partner had a very good fish meal (proposition di chef). The service was quite good as well.

Belle ambiance à côté du château repas convenable personnel aimable la qualite prime largement sur la quantité dommage que l'on favorise les tables dû milieux alors que les 3 quarts de l'établissement est vide un dimanche midi mais ce n'est qu'un detail
