Bidra med feedbackWe always feel like family when we dine at Roses! Both of my sons, ages 6 and 8, absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always served piping hot, and the staff, including the owner, treat us with such warmth and hospitality. It's rare to find a restaurant that welcomes families with young children so warmly. Our go-to dishes are the pancakes and breakfast omelets, along with the delicious Saganaki and Pierogies.
The best breakfast in the city can be found here. You won't find a better place.
It can be hit or miss popping into a small town diner - but Rose’s was a hit! The decor, with its retro posters and furnishings was the perfect set(ting) for very fresh, very simple, home-cooked style food. A nice homemade meaty burger with appropriate toppings, a fresh and crispy iceberg lettuce salad, and a steaming hot coffee was the perfect lunchtime ensemble. The cast (hostess and waitress) were not particularly affable, but were efficient and nice-enough in a reserved kind of way. And very, very reasonably priced too! I would definitely stop here again.
Went here for breakfast was okay. Play needs updating it just felt dirty. Very greasy breakfast. Not a bad price.
Today is Friday May 5, 2017. I submit a lot of reviews for restaurants but I also read a lot of other reviews and when going through a particular town and at the right time I often stop to try it out for myself. Rose's got some pretty good reviews and a few not so but the best review is always a personal one. Today I was passing through this small town at the noon hour and decided to give Rose's a try. It was a cold, rainy day and good for some comfort food so I ordered from their lunch special menu which was a bacon cheese burger with a side order of fries. Certainly not the healthiest meal to ingest but comfortable if certainly was. The burger was home made and the patty very thick and tasteful with plenty of fixings between the buns. The French fries were perfectly cooked. Everything about the meal was good and I left on the rather full side. However there was a glitch that I noticed right away in that the two ladies consisting of the staff seemed to be rather aloof and cold. Now don't get me wrong but I have experienced this type of attitude in large very busy establishments but Rose's is a small town diner that serves small town diner food but without the small town diner warmth. Once my food arrived to my table that was the last anyone spoke to me until I stood at the till to pay my bill and even that was uneventful and cold. COME ON FOLKS -- SMILE AND ASK HOW IS EVERYTHING.
