Bidra med feedbackGreat to see breakfast back on the menu again. It is just as good as it was in the past after not on menu last year. Great friendly staff, very clean restaurant and great value for money
Nice place to eat el fresco enjoy the breeze whilst having a lager a burger. I had Supremo Burger with chips. Inexpensive. Nice ambience. Cheeky waiting staff clearly speak a lot of different euro lingo, very polite funny. Will come here again when on Lanzarote. Would of stayed longer but had to return rental car back to airport.
Have been here many times over the years visiting Lanzarote. Last year when we came they were closed for a refurb! They have cut down the options on menu a bit but still plenty to choose. Very glad they are still here. Came a couple of times, the food was delicious, especially the garlic prawns! Have had them elsewhere but they are always wonderfully cooked here! Service was as good as ever and the rest of the meals were great.
At nearly 60 I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before, until I experienced le Ancla two nights ago! I’ve pondered writing this review for 2 days but felt I had to write something, there are a lot of good restaurants around the old port unfortunately this isn’t one of them! I truly felt for the female member of staff who must have to contend with incompetent waiting on staff and chef (s) every service. What more can I say, the details of our experience from start to finish would take a while to write but include, being ignored on entry, charged 18 euro for non selected supermarket wine (5euro) instantly delivered food, and I mean 2 mins after ordering it was cold, obviously not left in microwave long enough! Anyway we left but paid our 20 euro for wine and water, we won’t be back!
Service was good, but felt the meals were not of the same quality as other restaurants we visited. Burger was good quality out of all the meals. Ther were plenty of repeat diners in. Just not for us.
