Bidra med feedbackThis place was special. From the outside it seems like a real harbour restaurant with not much to offer. The moment you walk in you realise that this is not the case. The attention to detail in the main room is exceptional. We sat down for lunch and was helped by a very friendly waiter. The waiter helped us with the menu as well as drinks and told us more about the history of the interesting building. For Starters we shared the scallops, which were incredibly flavourful and well cooked. Perfect texture. The main course was a fish and chips and the crumbed hake with leeks and bacon. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. It was also very well priced for the quality of service and the room. The chef came out to speak to us for a bit, which was a nice touch as we got to learn more about him, his past and ambitions behind the restaurant. We will definitely be back.
In the icehouse, spacious and clean and interesting ! The choices were great and the food quality was excellent ! Especially enjoyed the oysters as they were prepared exactly how they should be ! Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We had a brilliant meal and would not hesitate to go back ! Thank you very much !
Very tasty food, but the waiting time was pretty long. We had a starter and a main each and left the Restaurant after 2.5h. If you are not in a rush, the food is worth it.
This is an absolute gem. We walked in for lunch today and met the owner and chef, who was very friendly and welcoming. Our server as well was great. The food was fantastic, we had the mussels, calamari and monkfish. Don't miss this place!
This was one of the most memorable dinners on our NC500 trip. If you like seafood, this is must. We got 2 seafood platters and a couple sides. The chef created such a personal experience for our group and the staff was extremely friendly. The main dining room is unique and has a ton of history, ask the staff about it! 10/10 experience.
