Bidra med feedbackThyme is now a perogies for your main course. We had perogies, Caesar salad , chicken wings and beers. No one complained and no one walked out hungry. I believe the kitchen is ran by others . It is not gluten free /dairy free
This restaurant moved to the north side last year and seems a big secret. Had breakfast recently. Still very excellent. Eggs Benedict. We were only ones. Deserves more traffic.
Thyme has moved to Cumberland St. S. It 's location is great, the decor is wonderful, the food is delicious, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere feels like it belongs in a larger city. It 's charming with quaint touches and lovely table settings. It 's also in an historic building that adds to the charm. But the most important part of any restaurant is the food. My friends from Calgary and I had different entrees and each one was beautifully presented and tasted really good. I had the eggs Benedict and they were perfectly cooked. I thought the side was mushrooms at first. But to my surprise they were potatoes. My friends were very pleased with my restaurant choice. I was too. It 's going to become a go to restaurant for me.
The restaurant is really cute and cozy. It has a nice, light, airy feel to it. The prices are pretty average for breakfast. The menu is small and not really clear. For example, you can order an omelet and it lists all the fillings but nowhere does it say how many filings comes with an omelet. I had the mini quiches which were okay. They tasted like the mix wasn't really well incorporated, because I kept getting the odd bite here and there that tasted like miracle whip. The quiches were mostly egg, the fillings were pretty sparse, and the crust was very very thin. The potatoes that come with the omelet were really tasty and cut into cute shapes, and the berries tastes nice and fresh. Coffee was okay, but on the pricey side for coffee that came with just one refill. We were a little disappointed because there were no specials the day we went. We were told this was because they were doing an Easter brunch the next day. Overall I had a pleasant enough breakfast, but I'm not scrambling to return.
While Trip Advisor shows it closed, Thyme did reopen in January. I have been several times for their Eggs Benedict breakfast or lunch. Still excellent. Open til 2.
