Porter House - Thunder Bay

Very nice atmosphere and the food was done very nicely. For a Thursday evening it was not very busy what was super nice, although it was perfect for our date night. Definitely recommend and go back to try other dishes.

For the first time for our anniversary dinner. I had Primerib and my wife had the filled chicken. You have to say we were both very happy with food, service and price. Everything tasted amazing. They even gave us a free cheesecake desert for our anniversary. Great atmosphere very clean and comfortable. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Great job! A place you need to experience at least once.

1. Visit there and probably go back. A little on the expensive side. Nice decor and staff was friendly. The food was very good, with the exception of the bacon wrapped zartloin ordered rarely came medium rare and the main rib came rarely to very rare instead of medium rare. We've made a few bumblebees of food so we still enjoyed the meal. The Thai chicken bites were very good.

High prices for extremely average food and small portions. Nothing on my plate, which I got the bacon wrapped beef tenderloins with loaded potato, surprised me or stood out in anyway. The general appearance of the restaurant earned it a few extra stars. Nice decor but very loud atmosphere. The waitress was OK friendly. The chef was suppose to make a medium well steak but it came out with blood. The waitress took it back, the chef flipped it over and sent it back. It was quite disappointing but we didn't want trouble with them after that. I wouldn't recommend to anyone that enjoys cooking or rich flavors on their dish, but maybe to those just wanting a place to meet a group, have drinks, and eat a high priced meal.
