Minato Japanese - Thousand Oaks

I had a perfect midday dining experience at Minato Sushi. The addition of bamboo blinds provided privacy and blocked the strong afternoon sun. The light breeze made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. I was happy to see they now have an outdoor dining area and I look forward to returning.

Their bento was sooo good and the serving was generous,,,the beef was tender, the katsu was crispy amd their california ,,the best not to mention the miso soup..noodle soup was excellent,,finish the soup up to the last drop..the service was good and staffs were attentive and nice...

Great view of bay. Fish and chips large portion and very good. Linguine and clams good but could have used a cup of chowder with it for more substance. Bread served was very good.

Minato is my favorite place for sushi with a great selection of rolls at an affordable price. They also offer shabu-shabu, which sets them apart from other restaurants. The staff is very friendly and it's a perfect spot for locals who enjoy a good happy hour.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and it's some of my family's favorite sushi! We frequently order takeout from here and I highly recommend it for sushi in the Toronto area.
