Mastro's Steakhouse - Thousand Oaks

We actually sat in the bar to eat dinner this time. It was great. We went for a Birthday celebration. Only 4 can be in the bar area I believe at the tables. The piano singer was very good. Wesley our server was fantastic. All the food delicious. The lemon drops are always the hit of the night.

I can't begin to express my delight and satisfaction with the remarkable transformation we experienced during our recent visit to your steakhouse. This is the Maestro's we are familiar with. After a previous disappointing encounter with the service, we were hesitant to return. However, we are so grateful that we gave it another chance. Received a call from a manager after our previous experience, (my apologies for not remembering his name. He was terrific). He appeared quite concerned about our poor dining experience and encouraged us to return. He pretty much guaranteed us a great dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth and sincerity. The waitstaff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the food they served. The steaks, oh my goodness, they were beyond heavenly. Cooked to absolute perfection, each bite was a symphony of flavors. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every mouthwatering bite. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and elegant, creating a relaxing and unforgettable dining atmosphere. We were also celebrating our daughter's birthday. They made her feel so special. It is truly rare to find a restaurant that can redeem itself so magnificently, and I am grateful for the outstanding effort your team put forth to make our dining experience extraordinary. I will enthusiastically recommend your steakhouse to anyone seeking an exceptional culinary journey. Thank you for turning our previous disappointment into a memorable and exceptional dining experience. We will definitely be returning.

Medium Steak is actually very rare. I had told the waiter I wanted it more pink than red, however it came very red and ******. Even after it sat a few minutes it didn't get any better. I had to send it back. they tell you they are bringing a bread basked, but don't tell you there is a $5 charge for it. The bread was good and worth it, but they should tell you first there is a charge. Pork Chop, House Salad, Baked potato and Roasted Brussel Sprouts were very good. Service was ok. I had to actually have someone get our waiter to have him take the steak back. He also dropped a part of a brussel Sprout on the table and did not clean it up. The tables are a bit close together so you really have no privacy. I had been to Maestros in Beverly Hills and Downtown years ago and loved everything, however I guess they have changed a bit and overall my experience in Thousand Oaks was an ok experience.

Our server Erin was excellent the Tuna Tartar was a little off and when we told her management addressed it right away and told the chef and the removed it all from service just in case. Steak perfectly cooked creamed spinach to die for and well the signature lemon drop with the dry ice JUST WHAT I NEEDED last night. THANK YOU ERIN MASTRO'S

A Mastros Anniversary to Remember! We celebrated our 11th anniversary at Mastros recently, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top notch. Food fit for a special occasion: We opted for the ribeye steak and a pork chop, and both were cooked to absolute perfection. The sides were equally impressive the lobster mac and cheese was decadent, and the smash potatoes were fluffy and delicious. Paired with some fantastic martinis, the entire meal was a true treat. Service with a Smile: The customer service was outstanding. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. The manager even came by to personally wish us a happy anniversary, which was a lovely touch. They truly made us feel special on our big day. Highly Recommended and Returning Soon! We can't say enough about our wonderful experience at Mastros. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be recommending Mastros to everyone we know, and we can't wait to return for another fantastic meal ourselves!
