Lassens Natural Foods Vitamins

I have shopped at Lassen's for years, but after the proprietor supported the anti-gay marriage proposition 8, I no longer shop here. You can easily check the community backlash by search the Ventura County Star.

I came across this place on HappyCow, and here’s my review of Let’s Natural Foods. I visited in February 2012, and I was quite impressed. At first, the store seemed small, but as I explored further, I discovered it was actually quite spacious, with aisles stretching throughout the store. They offered many familiar natural and healthy foods and products, and I found the prices to be quite reasonable—some items were even cheaper than Whole Foods. I ended up buying a bag of goodies. Inside, there’s also a deli and a fresh juice bar.

I absolutely love this place! They have a great reputation for their vegan and vegetarian options, and the staff is very helpful. They offer most of the products you might need. Additionally, I really appreciate their support of anti-gang initiatives, which is an important issue in their community.

The prices are quite steep, and the variety of vegetables often feels like an afterthought. It’s disappointing, especially since we really need more viable alternatives to corporate monopolies.
