This is our regular hangout... Whenever we feel like Chinese food there is no better alternative in the Hills. There meals are authentic and ingredients are always fresh. We have been coming here for the last 10 years and you never get a bad dish... They are always consistent with their quality.
The food is average at best, but more importantly you will be challenged to find a place in all of Sydney that has any worse customer service. They are cocky, pushy, and rude. They aggressively upsell you and when you don't fall for that trick are visibly unhappy. Oh yes, and when you have just put the last piece of food in your mouth they literally clear everything up even the tea you are drinking, holler a loud thank you, and give you the bill even before you have asked for it! I suggest for you to go somewhere else I will.
This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. My family has been coming here for years and I've never had a bad meal. Some of my favourite meals are the steamed Oysters with soy, ginger shallots and vermicelli noodles very decadent. all traditional meals such as steamed fish, Peking duck, sweet and sour pork, San Choy Bao are all great. They also have a special lunch menu which is great value highly recommend the fish Congee it's the best I've ever had.
Located in Thornleigh, Lee Central is located on the 2nd floor of the restaurant village. The area is quite large and seemed clean. I wasn't sure if they were deliberately trying to do the authentic grumpy Asian waiter act or it was just the usual. The food was ok crispy chicken was quite salty (which I like), the fried prawns were a small portion but tasted nice while the tofu, prawn and veggie dish was the highlight.
