Donburi - Thornhill

Service was the only saving grace here. Meats were bland and overcooked (katsu tasted refried, the chicken dry and no flavour absorbed into the meat). Udon soup overly salty.

This has become one of my go to restaurants when I fly into Markham. The food is good, it is open late and it is reasonably priced. I have not had anything that I don't like yet.

The rice bowl sets are excellent! We visited during a special anniversary promotion, so the atmosphere was very lively. We will definitely return. Also, the TVs were playing "One Piece" and "Lilo & Stitch"!

This restaurant is fantastic, offering a wide range of menu choices. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious. We particularly loved the rice dishes, such as the donburi gyuu don, chicken omurice, and onigiri, as well as the chicken wings. The service is friendly and efficient, and there is plenty of seating available.
