Bridges Tavern - Thornbury

The outdoor terrace at this restaurant is perfect for enjoying summer drinks with friends while soaking in the beautiful view of the lake. Don't forget to bring your furry friend along, as they will also be welcomed and pampered here!

We had a peaceful meal with excellent service, close to a lake that was just a short walk away. The food was typical pub food, although not as cheap as at Blue Mountain nearby. Parking was free and there was no need for reservations unlike in Collingwood. Personally, I prefer dining at Blue Mountain, which is only a 15-minute drive away. While there isn't a mountain view, the river and dam are still beautiful in any season.

We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The service was very friendly and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for dinner.

We arrived at a pint last night before we went to dinner somewhere. There was a very nice young man who served us and tried to convince us to stay. However, we had other plans and went. When we came to our destination, we couldn't get in so we decided to go back to the pub. Very glad. We had and had great meals. We wouldn't have had a better evening. Very recommended! Have the sticky toffe pudding

The staff are amazing, a huge shout out to Adam and the kitchen staff who were able to accommodate a hockey team and parents with no notice, in 2 hours we were all fed and happily on our way. The food and beverages were also...very tasty! We will definitely visit Winifred's again
