Le Club de Voile - Thonon-les-Bains

My man and I spontaneously went there on a Sunday to lunch. since the restaurant was not completely full (it was still approx. 3 tables open, we had to wait for more than an hour for our simple main courses! we had a...hamburger (not too complicated and a calbstau (only the meat was freshly cooked). when we asked the waiter after about an hour when comes our food? "he began to explain that it took 'a 's ' (housing because the restaurant was fully booked. first, it was not a response to our question, secondly it was not full. but clear, with only 2 employees in the kitchen, and 1 official waiter (2 girls hanging around the bar, were allowed to serve only broth, chips and drinks it was a chaos! and we were not even given broth (without oil or butter). or everything as an appetizer. only 5 minutes before we finally got our food (70 minutes after ordering! we have given a little bread. the quality of food is very good, also excellent. but because of the bad service and the waiting period we will not come back. So only if you're early or if it's half full.

We came in this beautiful seaside part of thonon les bains shortly after 1400. all the other six or so restaurants had already put the chef down. le bistro was in a top spot at the lake of the genfer and still served, even though only a limited menu,...big burger and salate. we were the only people who ordered at the time, but it took almost an hour to get the food. In the meantime we were ignored by a lot of employees around. I would have lost my appetit when that didn't show up very interesting eating. the personal was unapoologetic to be rude. the bill for three adult and 2 children, no wein or coffee, was not far from 100 euro, in the grunde money down. on the left felt grumpy over all in this pretty but moderate city.

Un endroit que nous aimons bien! at the beginning par l’apéro non? on recommande l’apérol. oui oui oui c’est le truc à la mode, mais ici il est vraiment bien servi. le diner est simple mais de très bonne qualité, service attentivené et dispo. pour faire. siple, auf recommande. for foreign travelers: this is the only place in thonon on the waterfront, with view of the harbour. the place to enjoy the sunset. for the aperitif we recommend the aperol. I know it's a trendy drink, but here it is actually very well served (not drowned in ice! eating is not extravagant, but in that did very nice. service is efficient and friendly when they are. do you have the meaning? we are thonon native and regularly go to the place, it can be recommended.

We were looking for the lunch while we were touring around the genfersee. le bistrô looked beautiful, so we went in. the waitress was completely uninterested in us. it was difficult to get a table, another drink. the bill. ketchup. the burger was very nice. The...view is nice, don't go if you're in a hurry.

Accueil sympathique. Vue imprenable. Le serveur nous a très bien placé. Apéritif : deux verres de champagnes pas suffisamment frais dommage pour un verre à 8€ ... Servi sans p'tits gâteaux apéritifs ... Plats : filets de perche pour Mr à l'échalote, bon mais pas copieux et la présentation bof. Pour moi salade avec féra fumé, viande séchée, foie gras etc... Vinaigrette bof qlq p'tites tomates sans goût une salade sans imagination. Dessert : profiteroles pour Mr, bons. Pour moi un chocolat liégeois immangeable.. je l'ai dit en réglant la note, réponse "oui, nous savons ce n'est pas de la vraie glace au chocolat et savons qu'elle n'est pas bonne" ben pourquoi la vendez vous ??? Note 80€ pour deux. Beaucoup trop cher quand vous ne vous régalez pas ... L'impression d'avoir jeté mon argent par la fenêtre. Je suis désolée mais votre restaurant mérite tellement mieux vu sa situation sur le port et par respect pour vos clients
