Conca D'Or - Thônex

The food was great. the mussel and the pasta was so good. The texture of the pasta was heavenly and the season was first class. The pizza was also very good, you could say it was baked in a wood stove. The pizza was very... light and crispy and the parma ham was very exquisite. The service was great and the waiter was very friendly and funny. Everything was perfect except for people smoking at the table next to us. Although there was a little wind, so the smoke didn't cause us too much. The food was also very cost-effective and affordable compared to other residues in Gineva. 11/10 would definitely go regularly if I lived nearby.

The food is ok, sitting outside is narrow and often full of chain smokers. Lack of menus as we had to wait half an hour until a menu was available for us to see. Eating was served an hour and fifteen minutes after our order,...no came back to check if we order something or other things like beverages, water, coffee, bread, etc. When we gave the management about the lack of service feedback, he called us and asked us to go and not come back as he said: «I don't accept your feedback and if you have problems with the smokers next to you, you should not have given them warnings. Especially to make a scene and throwing out their customers are part of their usual behavior and service. Very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant.

In the past, I had an excellent service in this restaurant. Maybe management has changed. Tonight, I and a friend wanted to have a quick meal before I went to the theater. The waiter who received us was very friendly until he discovered... we just wanted a pizza where he was surly and not helpful. We ate fast and left. I guess I can never go back.

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews, and were not disappointed. The waiter took his time to suggest the wine (and did not go for the most expensive one, but for the one he liked the best) and the food. Everything was...perfect. The bruschetta fresh and truly Italian, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the dessert just delightful. And we were offered an after meal drink, limoncello, grappa or other. This is truly a secret gem in Geneva!
