Ristorante Pizzeria Al Barcon - THIENE

I was invited to this restaurant by my Italian colleagues for a lunch and was absolutely satisified. I must start from the fact that staff of this restaurant is absolutely friendly and welcoming, service was good. I tried pizza, pasta and meat. Frankly speaking pizza was average good, pasta was good enough and meet (beef tagliatta) was very good. They serve Olio Carli olive oil and it would not be enough to say that this delicate extra vergin olive oil was perfectly delishios. Restaurant is located in Sarcedo but in my vision it is more a kind of Thiene suburb. Located right at the road so you woun't miss it driving nearby. Restaurant interior is nothing special actually but I loved their dark green chairs, looks really special. All in all I would recommend Ristorante Al Barcon for everyone and hope that you will enjoy the meal the same as we did during our lunch.

Although this is also a restaurant, I went here for pizza so I'm reviewing this establishment based purely on that. In short, the pizza is very good: a typical northern Italian base with well balanced topings. The menu has a good selection with all the usual favourites of this area. The restaurant itself is really nice: located on the outskirts of Thiene (just! , it has a large airy dinning area with lots of natural light. There's a fair choice of beers and the staff is quick and efficient they should be told that smiling never killed anyone though! This place is probably better for families and groups of friends rather than a romantic couple night...

Fast service and good food (bigoli all anitra and braciola of course) personnel very kind, recommended if you look for something simple and no frills
