Massalia - Thessaloniki

The menu was varied without being overwhelming. Everything was fresh. The prices were great, and when the wind picked up our server, it was preemptive and brought over the heaters to keep us warm. The recipes were absolutely perfect. Beautiful design and delicious. It takes a big corner and sees an old church, beautiful street art, and is on a mostly pedestrian strip that is highlighted with a view of the White Tower at the end. Just magical.

It's kind of futile, but wow! The sea bass appetizer was delicious with small balls of white balsamicum, the texture of sweet fish Roe I had no idea how she did it. While I didn't like the fish sauce heavy orzo with shrimp, it was still perfectly constructed, just not my taste. kalamata paste olive oil with a point of honey balsalmic makes you realize that this cook notices the details and makes sure you also do!
