Bidra med feedbackSafari Club is a really fun place to come and dine. If animal heads are your thing, you'll want to take a tour around the whole restaurant and bar area, because there's truly an impressive range. The drinks at the bar are great too, so stop in even if you can't stay for dinner. If you DO stay for dinner, you'll find the food to be really nice. The meatloaf is homemade (and delicious), the fries fresh from potatoes, and the rolls hot. They have a veggie burger made from pea protein that's the exact right texture. The service is also lovely and you'll have everything you need.
Wonderful experience, wish they could of set the group of 12 but they set us two at the bar and the bar tender was the best I've had!! We had a great time! Food was great and had mixed drinks I had never tried before and they were AMAZING
The Safari Club is a throwback to woodpaneled rooms where explorers smoked and swapped stories of hunting dangerous beasts. The entry hall is covered in old, lack and white photos of hunting expeditions and a mural of a pith helmeted hunter. Inside the walls are covered in taxidermied trophies almost all of them real except a handful of replica endangered species. The menu is more TGIFridays than safari, but the food is good, served quickly and tasty. Due to COVID the restaurant like all restaurants was understaffed but the staff did their best to serve quickly and efficiently. This place is retro fun not to be missed when in Themopolis.
The wait at this restaurant was longer than at other places we visited, but the food was pretty good. The waitress was really nice and checked on us often until another one showed up. We started with some delicious crab-stuffed mushrooms as our appetizer. For the main course, we ordered a generic deluxe burger, which was elevated with pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and Frank's Red Hot sauce. We also tried the fish and chips, which were well-cooked and served with decent fries, although they could have used a bit more salt. The side salad was paired with a delicious ranch dressing - always a good sign of a quality dining establishment.
To start, I should mention that we travel with our pet poodle, which limits our options for accommodations and dining. Safari Club serves some of the best food we have had in Wyoming. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and my butterfly shrimp was delicious. We were seated on the patio, but we were pleased to find that they offer outdoor seating. The waiter was very courteous and brought our food out to us on the patio. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the shade with a nice breeze.Overall, a great experience.
