Bidra med feedbackWe got the family barbecue for 2. And a lot of margaritas. We didn't solve the worlds problems, but I wasn't hungry for 2 days. It was delicious.
Great Tex-Mex in the woodlands. Went with a large group of business associates and had amazing fast service, hot fresh food with great prices. This was my third time eating here over the past few years while visiting and working at the local hospitals..... Won't be the last time either. Cheers M8!
Absolutely a wonderful restaurant! Our favorite server is Emilio and Geronimo, the manager, is just a fantastic individual! We love going here and it 's our go-to restaurant for Mexican food in the entire area! Why??? Great food, THE best service, quaint atmosphere, and overall the most pleasant dining in The Woodlands! They are not pretentious, which fits us beautifully, unlike other snooty restaurants in the area. Sure, other Mexican restaurants have good food, like Pappasitos or Guadalajara, but NEITHER of them REALLY compete with THIS Mama Juanita 's! I can tell you that whether you order a Taco Salad, Fajitas, Pollo dishes, or even just Enchiladas, your tastebuds will thank you! And let 's not forget that the Customer Service is literally second to none! Drinks always filled, Emilio will make sure you are well taken care of, and unlike other restaurants, the manager Geronimo will come by to ensure that everything meets your needs! You should really check out this gem, a diamond in the rough, of a restaurant with a rich history, wonderful food, and honest hard-working individuals for your next dining experience!
I've been dining here since they opened because they were operating under the same menu and employees of my family's favorite Mexican restaurant. Casa Elena. What make this place so special is that even though they have nachos on their menu, even years later, you can ask for Casa Elena style nachos, either a half or a full order. What are those you ask? They are either 6 or 12 large chips layed out where they barely overlay and each one has it's own pile of refried beans, your choice of beef (including ground beef), chicken, etc., chili con queso, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, sour cream, and jalapenos. You pick up a chip and it's piled high- i usually scrape it all off, mix it up, and put it back on mutltiple chips to eat. Ask your waiter/waitress for it if you want to try them and if they say they don't know what that is, just tell them to ask someone in the kitchen, they'll know. Anyway, the service is always good, the food always comes out right and they are quick to fix it if there is something wrong. I can't imagine not going back.
We always come to this restaurant whenever we bring flowers to my sister who lives nearby. The staff are excellent and the service is great. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous.
