Bidra med feedbackHad reservations NY's Eve day for 415p so not crowded. Waitress took our drink order, brought drinks to us and advised someone else would be our waiter. Wedge salad had hardly any dressing. Asked for more and was served in a tiny container, about 3 teaspoons worth. Hearsay Steak nice flavor but completely chewy. Vegetables were good. Waiter came back to check on our entrees after we were half way finished. Had to go to the bar to ask for salt. Heard another waiter advising the other customers about the specials offered which we we never advised prior to ordering our food.
What a hidden gem! Brunch at Hearsay on the Water was beautiful and a perfect fit for a busy Christmas Eve for my family. The food was delicious, the service was timely, and the restaurant was calm and bright. The brunch menu had some great gluten-free options and excellent prices. Three cheers for the steak and eggs!
Hearsay on The Waterway was just ok. The food was ok, service was good! Nothing bad to report but presentation could have been better. I had the scallops and they were good just not mind blowing. I was expecting something excellent based on the opinion of someone else but as stated before, underwhelmed.
The food was great and front desk host was very nice, the waitress was polite and request was handled appropriately. the reason for the 3 star is because we sat on the balcony and wanted a view of the water during christmas season. There was no seasonal decoration on the patio. For such a lovely venue on the waterway, the management could have made some effort to improve the outside balcony ambiance for customers who wanted to sit outside and enjoy the waterview and holiday festivities. The tables outside are dated and could have have been decorated with some holiday decor, or add a red or white table cloth and some some holiday floral. Inside the restaurant was nicely decorated. Why not do the same on balcony? Folks can sit outside and feel the holiday spirit, enjoy the weather and water views. I was not overly impressed so I will not visit venue again.
Wanted to celebrate my wife's 47 birthday in the woodlands so I thought this would be a great place for dinner. I will say the waiter was good and the old fashion was excellent but other than that I was far from impressed. I had the Seared salmon and smoked gouda mac. The Mac tasted like the boxed stuff and the salmon was not seared and it was flavorless. My wife had the ribeye steak and it too was just ok but for $42 I'd say it wasn't worth it. And then in to top of all that they didn't even bring my wife a desert for her birthday. Now this wouldn't have been a big deal if they hadn't brought another table one. So with that said I'll give them a 2 out of 5 stars.
