I discovered this restaurant on Facebook and decided to try it out for breakfast. Don't let the simple strip mall exterior fool you, the interior is cozy and filled with nostalgia! Our server, Jacki, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, which enhanced our dining experience. The menu offers a variety of delicious food options at reasonable prices. I tried the Barnyard Mouse dish and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size, despite the menu describing it as "mini pancakes." The 20-minute drive to this restaurant was definitely worth it.
I have visited this restaurant for breakfast three times recently and had a great experience each time. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the coffee was hot! Mrs. Jackie served me on all three occasions and she is a gem - friendly, hardworking, and a pleasure to interact with. I will definitely be returning in the future!
On July 8th, we decided to support a local restaurant rather than a big chain. However, we were disappointed by the prices at this particular establishment. My husband ordered two pancakes for $9.99, and when he added eggs, potatoes, and ham, the total came to $20 for breakfast. In comparison, you can get five pancakes at IHOP for $8.49 or two pancakes at Snooze AM for $8.29. The latte was enjoyable, but the food was only okay. Personally, I did not enjoy the bacon. Overall, we tried to support local businesses but were left feeling unsatisfied.
This is a great little jewel of a place! I was surprised how good the coffee was and the size of the latte is impressive! I also had breakfast there a few times and it was good. The service is great, very friendly and accommodating. I'm back.
