Use this takeaway for 30 +years never had a problem the meals are consistantly good ,yes they are a tad more expensive than others in the town but they are worth it ,always polite and always on time cant fault them

Been ordering from this Chinese for years! However this was the last me and my partner ordered a Chinese same as we always order when I opened the bag the rice carton was the same size as a cigarette packet!! They have now skimped on there portion sizes but still charging the same price! which is rediculous considering there not the cheapest of places I took it straight back down there and had my money back avoid this place!

Absolutely disgusting service so rude, sent the wrong food and refused to correct the issue unless we paid extra however it was her fault for messing the order up !! Wouldn’t recommend so rude, sends wrong food !!!

When we moved to Barry a few years ago, we shopped around, but quickly realised Yangtze is the best Chinese takeaway in Barry, possibly my favourite Chinese takeaway ever (and I’ve moved around a bit). Always friendly service, and never had a bad order. The crispy beef in peking sauce is always great, and once we tried the smoked chicken, we’ve not had an order without it since. They were even happy to swap out the egg noodles for rice noodles in their chow mein for us, as we prefer them. Cannot recommend enough!
